The technological process of PCBA patch processing is very complicated, including PCB board manufacturing process, component procurement and inspection, SMT patch assembly, DIP plug-in, PCBA testing and other important processes. The PCBA test is the most critical quality control link in the entire PCBA processing process, which determines the final performance of the product. So what are the PCBA test forms? The following is a summary for everyone.
-PCBA test mainly includes:
1) The ICT test mainly includes the continuity of the circuit, the voltage and current values and the fluctuation curve, amplitude, noise, etc.
2) FCT test requires IC program firing, simulation test of the function of the entire PCBA board, finds problems in hardware and software, and is equipped with necessary production fixtures and test racks.
3) Fatigue test is mainly to sample the PCBA board, and perform high-frequency, long-term operation of the function, observe whether there is a failure, and judge the probability of the test failure, so as to feedback the working performance of the PCBA board in the electronic product.
4) The test in harsh environment is mainly to expose the PCBA board to the extreme values of temperature, humidity, drop, water splash, and vibration to obtain the test results of random samples, so as to infer the reliability of the entire batch of PCBA board products.
5) The aging test is mainly to energize the PCBA board and electronic products for a long time, keep it working and observe whether there are any failures, and the electronic products after the aging test can be sold in batches.
The functional test of the PCBA circuit board after assembly is generally called FVT (Function Verification Test) or FCT (Function Test). Its purpose is to grab the poorly assembled board and install it through the analog circuit board. Full-featured test when the machine is completed, with a view to catching out any defective circuit assembly boards before assembling the machine, so as not to find defects after assembling the machine, but also to dismantle and reorganize all the waste of working hours and Material loss.
-PCBA functional test mainly includes:
1) Power supply part test-whether the power supply is working properly, test the voltage at each point-use a comparator or other
2) Port (interface) test, whether there is Short & Open, causing an exception
3) IC module I/O read-write function test-Flash&EEPROM&CPU&SDRAM&Logic IC etc
4) Special function test (different circuit board requirements are inconsistent)-such as with infrared, requires an external receiver
PCBA test depends on what test you are operating, ICT or FCT, different test methods will have different budgets, because ICT equipment and tooling are relatively expensive. But ICT can give good test results and bring great benefits to rework.
The process of PCBA is complicated. In the process of production and testing, various problems may occur due to improper equipment or operation, and the products produced cannot be guaranteed to be qualified. Therefore, PCB testing is required to ensure that each product does not have quality problems.
